Monday's Music Moves Me...Still Celebrating With A Freebie Week! #MondaysMusicMovesMe

Vive Arthritis Gloves #Review & #Giveaway #sponsored

I have spoken on many occasions about having arthritis. I have it in several areas of my body and I am not going to kid you, it hurts. One of the places I have arthritis is my hands. This sometimes makes it difficult to type on my laptop or to do the art-y things I love.

Recently, I received this pair of Vive Arthritis Compression Gloves for me to try out. Since I was working on my laptop anyway, I thought I might as well give them a go while typing. They come in three different sizes, small, medium and large. Since I have big hands, I got the large size.

As you can see, there was no problem with that size for me. The gloves fit snug but not so snug I felt like my hand was being crushed. Of course being a compression glove, it is supposed to fit this way to some extent. The pressure certainly did relieve much of the arthritic pain but did not take it all away. At least I was able to keep on working without having to stop. What a plus for me!

The finger holes allowed me to type pretty much with ease although, sometimes I had to pull the fingers up as it would slip down but not to the point of annoyance.

The end finger tips are well stitched together to keep them from raveling and also to keep that good compression on my fingers as well. The gloves in general are well put together but do stretch a little bit so that I could pull them up to where they needed to be. The gloves are of thin material but this is not a drawback in the least, that is to allow a bit of air to flow through.  The irony of the thinness for me was the gloves were warm to wear but since it has been so hot, that was understandable. Again, they are made that way  in order to get them on for a best fit.

I am so glad to have these for help with relief of arthritis to do the things I love. I do recommend these for healthy living. ~Naila Moon

Hello one and all. I am beginning the week with a celebration. That is right, Monday's Music Moves Me is celebrating 6 years of spinning tunes, dancing, and just having a good time! If you have been following us awhile, you would know that this was begun as a brain child of our good friend,
Xmas Dolly. You must know that the co-conductors are Stacy and Colette...oh, and me too! Several others have hopped on board to co-conduct the music train and we could not be more grateful for them when they have filled in.

So, enough of the jibber-jabbering. Let's go and do what we do best...MUSIC!
This week just happens to be a theme week too. So, our friend, Roma is Spotlighting this week and she says we need to do music that inspires us. So, that we shall do. Let's go!



Lot's of music inspires me, so this one is kind of a tough-y.

First up: This is one of the most inspiring songs I have ever heard. He keeps cranking them out too.

Next: This man sang for years at the Indianapolis 500 Race. Every time he did, my Dad would cry. It was the few times I ever saw him cry. Jim Neighbors was an amazing singer and a funny actor as Gomer Pyle.

Finally: Even with all the chaos that goes on in my country, I do love it. I seriously do not want to live anywhere else. Having said that, I am always inspired by this...

7 things I would have done this Summer.

I was asked by Mama Kat...well, it was one of her writing prompts...What are 7 things I would have done this Summer if I had the time and money to do them. 
So, I thought long and hard about that; it took the equivalent of about 10 seconds to come up with the list.

1. I would throw the hugest BBQ bash anyone has ever seen on the planet. I would invite all of my Facebook friends. They would have to bring the wine. Oh, and probably the pork steaks, maybe the other stuff too.  Oh, and do the cooking as I do not BBQ. However, I would provide the decorations, a DJ, and the back yard. Huge!
2. I would hire John Travolta and his plane to take me all over the U.S. to visit family and friends.Then, I would have him take me to Hawaii and we would sit on the beach. He would have no shirt on of course and rub tanning lotion on my shoulders.
3. I would buy out Barnes and Noble. Then open my own library and coffee shop right next to Starb's. It would be run by the local homeless people. They would have their own rooms in the place.
4. I would hire a barber full time and send him to a certain political candidate to make him look and sound good on camera. The barber would be carrying a truck load of duct tape.
5. I would buy the biggest and baddest fishing boat around and an entire cove on Bullshoals Lake. Then, I would hire my Uncle J. to go fishing with me, it would have to be trout fishing. I would provide all the fishing equipment he ever wanted. Once we were done, I would give him the boat and access to the cove for life.
6. I would hire a team from SW Airlines and one of their planes to take my Mother and our entire family to Rio. I would buy out a plush hotel for us to stay in. We would go to every event possible at the Olympics. We would have great food and our shots up to date.
7. I would buy out every home there is in the mobile home park I live in. The people here would have their pad rent lowered and could stay in their homes. I would move into one of the twelve that are empty and furnish it complete with a jacuzzi tub and a backyard pool. I would hire Sean Connery to be my butler, he would only wear shorts and a bow tie.

After the rain and the sun comes, Rainbow trying to catch...a rainbow. Another new to me.
