For WW, last week I shared with you my little pumpkin, Granddaughter. This week I am sharing with you my little buddy, Grandson. He just started "school" this week in the 2 year old's class and already having a Valentine's Day party. Apparently he...aka Mommy...is making out Valentine's for everyone in his class, which includes a cute little blonde. Hmm....
He does have "the look" down already. God help my daughter and son-in-law!

This weeks photo I took last week when my Mother was here. We went to an annual German Christmas market in downtown Denver. There they were selling one of her favorite things, mulled wine (hot wine). Although I cannot drink alcohol (due to meds...sigh) I took a sip, boy was it good!

Our family Advent wreath on Christmas Day

Hi everyone. As promised, every Sunday I am going to tell you a personal Christmas story via a video I made. Today's story is about our family Advent wreath. The video is below but before I get to that a little trivia.

Trivia
Advent wreaths come from pre-Christian Germany where it was cold and dark. Evergreens were gathered and fire lit in order to welcome the light and hope for coming Spring and renewed light.

By the 16th century, Christians had kept the Advent tradition alive but changed it for the light and hope of Christ.

Wordless(ish) Wed. and Vlogging with Mama Kat

Today I am combining a couple of post because it is just easier to do that sometimes. You don't really mind do you? You love me right? hee hee

Today I am going to be connecting to Mama Kat's weekly vlogging. Don't know what vlogging is? Well, it is all my crazy stuff just on video. What? You mean you didn't know I YouTubed? Oh yeah! Hang out for that after the post for Wordless(ish) Wed., you won't want to miss it!

 

So, on to Wordless. I recently won two t-shirts from Disney for their Wreck It Ralph promo. One shirt is for my darling little Grand-daughter but the other one went to my wonderful husband, Mark aka that guy from Chronicles From the Man Cave. (shameless plug)

I think he likes his new shirt. :)
