I'm getting late on the music train today but better late than never. This month's special co-host has made this request for today's theme.  They say April showers bring May flowers, so make it rain people!  Be creative about where your source of moisture comes from.

So, I was thinking about this...especially the creative part. To get to April and May we have to go through the winter months first. Sometimes, it is hard to get through, but when we do, we can get home.

 I heard this song just today. Ok, so maybe it does not fit the theme entirely but I had to share it anyway.

Next: This next song is all about rain. In fact the movie from the song title is all about dancing in it. It is a favorite of mine.

Finally: I would totally be amiss if I did not  say that I like my rain...purple!  This version of Prince's classic is just as amazing!

Then of course...there is the original! Which do you like better?

#Totu Umbrella #Review

It is the beginning of monsoon season here in Arizona. In fact, I am told, it has come upon us early. Fortunately for me, I received this wonderful umbrella from Totu/Hop Day just in time for the season to hit.

Really, I do not mind the rain but with this kind of rain, it hits hard and fast. Believe me, you need an umbrella or you are just going to be plain soaked!

What is terrific about the Totu umbrella is the one button action on the handle. Even if I am in the car, I can open the door, stick out the umbrella, push the button, and go! I stay dry and that makes me happy. It comes with its own zip up carrying case too.

Day 4...Please, I beg of you!

Since I dropped Tamirisc off at work this morning I have been at my Mom's house. She has not been here all morning, which is good because I get things done! hee hee 


You see, I am her personal assistant for the church she is pastor of. I use her computer to do her church stuff. When she is home, I inevitably get in to debate with her about using it. It is amazing to me that she always seems to "need" to be on it right when I am getting ready to do something for her.

Anyway, it has been so unbelievably hot this week. We have had 100+ temps in my fair city of Po Dunk.  The grass is now a lovely shade of brownish-green.  The trees are totally confused because they are beginning to turn for Autumn.

I am truly begging, pleading, whining, to Mother Nature to throw us a bone and let it rain. Seriously! I could even care less if that means our planned BBQ tomorrow gets wet. We need rain!------------------------------------

Obviously, I am taking a break from the church stuff and blogging away. I have also been listening to the hits of the 70's on YouTube in preparation for tomorrow's post.  Oh, you have got to come check that one out!

Well, enjoy the rest of the weekend...all the BBQ's and such.
