Christmas Day falls on Friday. Jesus being born into the world is the reason for Christmas. It is a time to celebrate even when life seems bleak. This week is the fourth week of Advent and the theme is PEACE. Let us all strive for it and celebrate. (note: he speaks for 2 minutes prior to the music but his words are beautiful too.)

Recently, I came across the new piece duet with Idina Menzel. The music is sweet but the video is even sweeter. On a night like tonight, this is a perfect song!

Christmas Watch Day 2 & A Birthday Wish

It is day two on my Christmas/holiday watch. I have been gathering paper up all over the place as my grandson is tearing it up. That is fun, no?  Speaking of which, the toddler turns the big 3 today.  I am pretty sure he is not all that impressed. 

This is the first time I have been with him for his birthday. See what I mean, not impressed.
