#MondaysMusicMovesMe Birthday Melodies!

Hey everybody! It has been a long time since I danced with the crew at 4M's. Really, it has been way too long!

I had to come today though, I heard through the grapevine that our own captain of the ship, Marie, is having a birthday this week. What better way for her to celebrate than with a musical extravaganza on 4M's!

She said she wants birthday songs and that is what she is gonna get. I did hear something about a twist with a song with the first letter of your name. So, she will get that too. Hey, it's her birthday, I am just bringing the "presents".

So, Marie, Stevie (we are on first name basis here) came by to start off this party.

I am continuing this celebration with Kool & The Gang.

I thought I would take clues from Betty Boop on how to throw your birthday party.

In the end, I just decided to toast to you!

Of course I could not leave with out you getting your birthday present twist. So, instead of the first letter, I am giving you my whole name! *wink*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARIE!!!! LOVE YOU!!!

Day 22...My Mom and birthday wishes

Day 22

Mom and I in 2010

I am most thankful for my Mother who came in to this world 72 years ago today. Of course then, I was not even a blink in her eyes.

I do not know what I would ever do without my Mother. She has stood for me when no other would. She has endured much to raise us in a loving home and a spiritual one at that.

She worked hard to teach not only us value and self worth but to also teach many other children the same things, as she was a teacher for over 30 some-odd years.  Now, she is a pastor of the faithful, a calling she had since she had been since she was 13 years old.

I know after 44 years of marriage she missed Dad and that is a burden only she can carry.

I am so grateful that she brought me in to this world.

I love you so much Mom. Happy Birthday!

Your daughter,
Naila Moon

Day 21...Dad's birthday

Today would have been my Dad's 74th birthday. I do miss seeing his face....that is the face I saw before his beginning to pass. That was certainly a difficult thing to deal with and at this point, I am not sure if it will ever leave me.

This is a photo of my Dad (right) on his 1st birthday.

I received a wonderful "gift" for Dad's birthday today. Mom gave me an old camera he had. It was the old box type similar to the one I have pictured here.  The only difference is that the lenses are one on top of another.

This is certainly a treasured gift for me. Upon his passing I received another camera of his which was also old. Somewhere around here there is also an old Pentax which will also be mind if we can find it.

Anyway, not that you ever read my blogs or that you can now but I miss you. Love you Dad.

Until next time...Peace,
Naila Moon

My loves birthday

Yesterday was the love of my life, Tamirisc's, 51st...um, I mean 29th...birthday.  My Mom took us out, along with our grand-daughter, to breakfast. We had a wonderful time at Cracker Barrel.  I think our grand-daughter thought it was her birthday but that is ok.

Izzy and Tamirisc color

We need this color!

Must have coffee!

Mom's winning smile

The cake. Thanks goodness she did not put 51 of them on there, would have burnt the place down. LOL

Izzy thinks it is her birthday!

Way to go Tamirisc. Happy birthday love!

It was a fun time by all as attestment to these photos.
Peace...Naila Moon
