Sky Friday:Sedona 3/31/17

It has been a long time since I posted a Sky Friday posting of my area. In fact, I do not remember the last time. So, I thought with the new looking blog and all, why not. In fact, starting today, I hope to post a Sky Friday and a Friday Photo post for you. I would love if you share where you are from and what your neck of the world looks like.

The photo today is from Sedona. This is one of the Red Rock mountains where my Mom lives. I think this is thunder mountain. It was gathering a doozy of a storm...that never happened today.

What's with the Alien On Instagram?

Recently, I visited a local book store and had myself a honest to goodness alien sighting. He was standing right there, staring at me, begging me to come in and chat. So, I did.
He told me his life's story, how he came to be here (via Roswell, NM of course), and why he was standing in the store window.

It turns out, he simply needed to take care of himself while he was waiting for the others. I can only assume that meant the Mother ship but, I wasn't about to ask that question. Anyway, he said that the kind book store lady took him in and said he could stand in the window and have people take photos of him in exchange for alien food. I think that may mean sushi but again, I don't really know.

So, since I was already there, I decided to sit down with him and have my own photo taken. I had to be careful with holding his arm, apparently aliens do not have strong arms and if you hold on too hard, they can break. Seriously, I was not going to have that on my conscience!

Nice fellow, that alien.

PS>Just so you know. I have always considered myself the Supreme Leader of the Known Universe. Don't believe me? Visit my Facebook page. Anyway, it was only natural that this alien took a photo with me for future relations with his race.

Monday's Music Moves Me...Sci-fy Movies or TV Themes #MondaysMusicMovesMe

It has been awhile since I played along with the gals at Monday's Music Moves Me. I miss you gals!
So, this week, with the new updated blog and all, I am thinking...yeah, it is time to come back.

This week the hostess with the mostess, X-mas Dolly, said there is a theme: Music from Sci-fy movies or TV themes. Okay then, I can do that!

First up: I am a bit of a sci-fy nerd...not as much as the hubby...but certainly, I like a bit of it. One of my favorites is Star Trek Deep Space 9. I recently came across the series again on TV and remembered why I liked it so much. This particular version of the theme music is performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Love it!

Next: The original Sci-fy series, "X-files" was a favorite of mine. I like the mystery of it and the ongoing alien theory. Who doesn't like a good alien story? The music for the show is as mysterious as the show itself.

Finally: Just like aliens, I love a good ghost story. One of the most intriguing TV series is that of "Dead Files". If you have not seen the talents of Amy Allen, then you have got to watch this show. It will spook you!

sigh...I just found out that they have no theme song on YouTube. However, I did find an episode where they were here in town. Oh....gotta go watch...be.right.back...

Okay so, let me try another one: One of my favorite movies was "Close Encounters" Does this really surprise you since aliens fascinate me?

Make sure you link up! Happy Monday!

HEY! LOOK-Y HERE...

Well, hello! I am back after a month, almost two-month hiatus. I needed time away for awhile as life was piling up. I also need some time to figure out how to move forward with some things.

First, you will notice the new digs. Fancy? Ok, not so much but a definite change. I like change. Next, I am sure you have already noticed the change in title for my blog and...

...what is that, a new name?

No, not really. I am the same Naila Moon as I always have been but if you have followed along for awhile, you would know that was a pen name or nickname of sorts. People were beginning to call me by my true given name so, I just decided to go with it. Again, I like change and I like me so...

More importantly, I wanted to change the direction (again) of my blog. The whole intention for blogging, to begin with, was for me to have a relationship...albight virtual...with others, and to get my lone voice out there to be heard. I wanted to have fun and enjoy life through blogging.

However, blogging got to be bogged down with nothing but giveaways. I enjoy that too but my voice had become lost in it and blogging had become dull to me. So, I have changed it!

Here you will see my musings come to play and hopefully a whole lot of merriment with it. Come back and enjoy. If there is a giveaway or two for you, that is good as well. Don't forget to see me on my other blog too, "Reading Authors". I talk all about books there!

Glad to be back!
