#Review:Ultrasonic Pest Repeller #brpestcontrol

This is the first time I have really had mixed feelings about a product. I cannot really say whether it truly works or not. We have not had any pest problems (thank goodness!) because we live on a second floor.

However, we have been having buggy problems so, I thought this might help. Well, it seemed to for about a week as we had no issues but then pest control had been in not long ago so...

The truth is, we still have bug problems but not as severe. Is this due to the repeller. Honestly, I don't know.

I can say this though, the product has not bothered my cat. She was curious of the flashing lights at first but now just ignores it. I am not even sure if the flashing lights mean it is working or what. I seriously don't get it.

As you can see the device takes up an entire outlet which is a drawback. So, if you get this product know this right away.

This is what the company has to say about the product.

You can target mice, squirrels, bats, ants, roaches, mosquitoes and other pests with a BrillanteTM electronic pest repeller using any one or more of the four built-in functions:
-Ultrasonic sound wave creation (intended to disturb and drive away pests with sounds outside the spectrum audible to humans)
-Electromagnetic field alteration (to repel in-wall insects sensitive to electromagnetic variations)
-Negative ion generator (to reduce airborne particles, microbes and odors that help attract pests)
-O3 / ozone unit (for reducing indoor bacteria and virus levels)
Convenient switches on each side of the pest repeller allow you to switch on or off each of the 4 functions at will and subtle LED lights let you know which functions are active (the ultrasonic function should be switched off if near pet rodents, results vary for dogs by age/breed).
COVERAGE: Ultrasonic function intended for use in a single room up to 6996 square feet. Additional units may be needed to target rodents in more than one room with ultrasonic sound waves. Negative ion and O3 functions intended for areas up to 861 sq. ft.
One unit is enough to provide electromagnetic coverage throughout the house (based on in-wall wiring).
INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE & EASY: Just plug into a wall outlet and switch on the functions you want to use. Can be combined with additional non-toxic repellents such as peppermint oil and even traps to catch pests driven out of hiding.
RISK-FREE PURCHASE: We want you to know we back our products with great customer service and our 60 day guarantee (days from delivery) that if you're not happy with your BrillanteTM pest control product we'll make it up to you with a no-hassle full refund.

Overall, the jury is still out for me on this one.

Disclosure: I received a product for my open and honest opinion. The views expressed here are 100% my own and may differ from yours. ~Naila Moon

Monday's Music Moves Me...Oh Those High School Days 3/30/15 #MondaysMusicMovesMe #music

Hello and welcome to the last Monday of the month. We are just moving on in this year at a fast pace. Unreal. However, I am taking the days as they come and enjoying the ride.

Today being music day, we have a theme this week. It is music that would have been played when you were 16.

As I was an '80s teen, this should be fairly easy.
I would have hit 16 around 1984.

Doesn't he look like he is trying to steal my watch?

This first song was from the Pop group The Pointer Sisters. We were certainly "jumping" in the 80's and they were too when the did a band make-over.

Next: As this was the year I found my first boyfriend. Almost all love songs were where it was at for me. This popular singer made several albums during the 80's and this was one that stood out in 1984.

Next: This was the first year I went to Prom. (Yes, that is me up there, all of 16 years old!) I was so excited. The theme for that year was of course taken from a song...Almost Paradise.  The movie, Footloose was very popular at the time.
For me, life as Almost Paradise in so many ways.

Finally: I was a huge Michael Jackson fan throughout the 80's but I was also a fan of this singer. In fact, I had a huge poster of him on my ceiling in my room. LOL  He had several hits including this one in 1984 which turned into a movie. (Just an FYI-to even find a video of Prince is amazing as a few years ago he sued YouTube for infringement rights.)

Well, that is it folks. Make sure to link up and I also ask you to come back everyday in April as I attempt the A-Z challenge. There will be music, quotes, and thoughts. ~Naila Moon

Sunday Sayings and some thoughts....Determination #quotes #A-Z

I have been wracking my brain the last couple of weeks about what I was going to do for the A-Z challenge this year. I have decided to do both of my main blogs which could be an insane thing to do but that is why we have challenges.

On my Reading Authors blog, I have already decided to do book reviews which are all kid lit related. That makes total sense but this blog...

So, then just yesterday, it came to me. I have decided to do a music blog every day that corresponds with the letter of the day. It makes sense for me to do the two themes I absolutely love.

So, come back on April 1st as I kick off the A-Z Musical Extravaganza! *chuckles*
I would love it if you come by every day and comment too. I need the encouragement to keep going!

Song-Suasion...3/28/15 #music

It is Saturday Song-suasion time. I am hanging out with my blogger pal, Cathy who hosts this shin-dig. Go by and tell her hello.

Today I thought I would dig around in my music Pinterest board to see what popped out at me. As it turns out two songs did but one stood out over the other.

I suppose today's song someone out there in the Blogsphere just needs to hear today.
So, sit back, relax and have  great day!

#MondaysMusicMovesMe Freebie Day!

Hello my lovely musical people and welcome to the first Monday of Spring! Are you as happy about that as I am? Today is also a bonus of course because it is also Monday's Music Moves Me.

You know the crew hosted by XmasDolly and co-hosted by Callie, Stacy, and myself. Let's rock the joint shall we? Today is a freebie day so that means a collective of whatever is up our sleeve.

Let's see...

The first song that comes to mind is inspired by the weather outside (right now as of me writing). It is has been raining today. I love the rain and of course it makes everything beautiful in the Spring. This song is taken from a favorite movie too.

Next: This next singer was dreaming of Spring out of the frozen ground. Her voice is smooth and sensuous as she sings. She is not a singer I have normally followed but I will be certainly be getting some more of her music. I give you k.d. lang.

Finally: This last singer is apparently a one-hit wonder from the 90's. I am totally unfamiliar with him. His song has no much to do about the weather as it does enjoying life and not letting people "steal" your enjoyments. Have fun in the sun with, Len.

Song-suasion: Spring's Blue Skies

I am back on an absolutely gorgeous Saturday to join my musical bud, Cathy for song-suasion.
I love finding new music or simply enjoying my old favorites. Either way, music is where I find inspiration, calmness, and plain old joy.

Today I want to celebrate the lovely blue sky we are having today.  Enjoy the music and stop by Cathy's blog to say hello. ~Naila Moon

#Review: SmartTech Gloves #gloves

I know what you are thinking. Why in the world would anyone want to talk about gloves, especially on the first day of Spring? Well, let me tell you why.

It is because we just finished Winter and this past winter was extremely cold! Heck, some of us still have snow on the ground. Yes, we still may need gloves and warm ones too. These Smart Tech Gloves are just the ones you need too.

Why, you ask? Well, first of all, some gloves are just not as warm as they pretend to be. I put these on and my hands became instant warmth. This is a plus in extreme cold weather.

However, that is not all and the best reason you need these, If you are like me, you have a cell phone and like to text. Or maybe even use your cell to check out social media while you are out. Have you ever tried to do those things with gloves on? Of course you have and it isn't easy at all! In fact, if you are like me, you have taken your gloves off and immediately your hands start freezing.

Well, not with these! I was skeptical at first because I seriously did not thing that I could do any kind of cell phone work with these gloves on. However, indeed I did.

I had no problem texting or pushing any of the buttons on my cell phone. Win! I am so happy with these gloves that before Winter hits again, I will be buying another pair for the hubby and maybe for the kids too. They come in the colors of black or grey.

Oh and one more thing...

"Our Famous 100% Winter-Smart "Wear-antee".
If our #1 Best Gloves construction quality, or anything about our product is not up to par: WE WANT TO KNOW. Our Top Priority is your satisfaction, and stand behind our premium products. If you're not satisfied for any reason, return your purchase for a 100% refund, no questions asked. You literally RISK NOTHING trying this Premium Product Today."

10 Reasons I Don't Drink Coffee!

Today is the first day of Spring...HALLELUJAH!

I thought to start this Spring day off, I needed to give you 10 reasons I don't drink coffee. Why today? Well, because it just seemed to be a good time.

1. I don't want to keep calm. If you need to stay calm, then you don't need coffee. Gah!
2. By the time I get up in the morning...um afternoon...the coffee pot is already empty due to one
said husband. He's selfish like that!
3. It takes a half of a pound of sugar and half a gallon of milk to make the perfect cup of coffee.
4. It is said that to sweeten the coffee there needs to have someone stir it with their finger. I am not         thinking I want someone's finger in my coffee. You never know where it has been. Eww...
5. There is no nearby Starbucks or coffee house where I live.

6. I would spill it down my new white shirt, then on to my new white pants, on the new white couch,       on to my new white tennis shoes, and finally hit the new white marble floor.
7. I do not look cool with my pinky up.
8. No coffee house sells Girl Scout Thin Mints with the coffee nor do I have any in the house. For the     love of Mike, why?
9. You can't play "spin the bottle" with a coffee cup.

and finally...

10. Just because I have no desire to drink it what-so-ever and I ran out of reasons why.

Have a good weekend and Spring day! ~Naila Moon

#Review: Black Hawaiian Lava Sea Salt

My husband and I do a lot of cooking. We use different spices to add to our food because we simply do not like bland food. Sea salt is one of those things we use on a regular basis so to try out this different kind of sea salt we found to be interesting.

One of the things that this black lava sea salt says is to use it as a finishing salt. We took heed to that. First we took a taste test before adding it to any of our food. The salt was stronger than the regular sea salt and left a bit of after taste.

Yesterday, I had made some corned beef and cabbage, so today of course, we had left overs. I decided to finish off the dish with this black hawaiian lava sea salt and oh....it was divine!

When we added it to our actual food, the flavor only enhanced the food with out that same after taste. It also looked pretty on the food for a nice added color.

Since you only need a pinch per dish, this sea salt will stretch for quite a long time. I think it is worth having in your kitchen. We enjoyed this a lot!

Disclosure: I received a percentage off code in order to purchase this product. The views expressed here are 100% my own and may differ with yours. ~Naila Moon

#Giveaway and #Review: The Flintstones Stone Age Smackdown! Blu-ray Combo, DVD and Digital HD #FlintstonesWWE

Are you ready to rumble?Calling all Flintstones & WWE fans! The Flintstones and WWE have teamed up to bring you Stone Age Smackdown!

About the movie:
When Fred loses his family's vacation money, he hatches one of his hair brained plans to get it back. It's a sports entertainment spectacle that involves throwing his best bud, Barney into the wrestling ring with the likes of John Cenastone (John Cena), Rey Mysteriopal (Rey Mysterio) and even The Undertaker, with Fred himself as event promoter! The crowds roar, the "clams" are pouring in from ticket sales and even Mr. McMagma (Vince McMahon) is taking notice of all the hoopla. Including all-star appearances from The Boulder Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) Marble Henry (Mark Henry) and Daniel Bry-Rock (Daniel Bryan), it's time to get the whole family together for hard-hitting, side-splitting laughs from the most epic event in all of prehistory!

My husband and I got a chance to preview the movie before it came out for purchase on March 10th. We were both pleasantly surprised because we had figured it to be "live" Flintstones with the real WWE teams. Instead it was the original cartoon versions which was a great throwback for us. We enjoyed it immensely.

Check out an example of some of the activities you can do as a family that relate to the movie!

Would you like your own copy? Well, you could purchase one or try your luck with winning a copy right here. Make sure to check out the disclosure because this will be a short "wrestle" to the finish!

Funday on #MondaysMusicMovesMe 3/16/15

Hello one and all, welcome back to Monday. Of course this is also music day hosted by Xmas Dolly along with co-hosts, Stacy, Callie, and yours truly. Today we have a theme of "funny" songs so, I am going to change Monday to Funday!

Let's get on with it shall we?

First up since this week is St. Patrick's Day week, I thought I would start off with a bit 'o the Irish humor. These guys are quite new to me but I loved the fact they sing about the magical creature the unicorn. I give you, The Irish Rovers!

Next up: As many of you may have figured out I am a Queen fan, even more so, I am a Muppets fan. To put them together is just fantastic. What I think is absolutely Queen-fun-tastic is this mash up.

Finally: I went over to Weseland's page and he had a song that reminded me of another song. This particular one was several that Disney released as a Disco album in the 1970's. What humors me about the song, is my youngest brother would sing it entirely in a duck voice. The version I am sharing with you was remixed in 2009 with an even more livelier beat. I give you the best song ever about Donald Duck!

BONUS: I have to include this video today because, I am TOTALLY NOT sucking up, but for the sheer fact she is hilarious. She is a very popular vlogger and well, on occasion she has found me kind of funny too. I have introduced her special kind of music before. I give you Mullet Girl aka Mama Kat.

Happy Funday! ~Naila Moon

Song-suasion:Irish Eyes

Hello my friends. Today is Pi Day, not that means much to me but I thought I would mention it. (Sadly), I never was much one for math but no matter, I will be plussed (see what I did there) by it anyway just for today.

Also today, many people are out celebrating early the wearing of the green today. I was going to go to our annual St. Patrick's Day Parade that I have missed every year since I moved here, but in keeping with tradition, I am missing it again. At this writing, it starts in 45 minutes but is 1 hour from my home. sigh...,

So, since I am joining my musical buddy, Cathy K. today for Song-suasion, I thought I would do a battle between those wonderful folks who have sung the music of Ireland.  The song I am choosing is. "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling." Tell me in comments who you think does it best.

Have a great day and eat some green pi! ~Naila Moon

#Review: Smead Office Products #shopletreviews

Tax season is upon us and if you have not been organized thus far and ready for it, then there is no time like the present before April 15th hits.

I love organization, although, you cannot tell it from my desk lately. Uh hm. To have everything in its place is what I need so I can just grab and go. This of course includes file folders and other organizational tools. I simply cannot have enough.

Guess what Shoplet.com sent me?

I was so happy when I received the Smead office products for review. Let me tell you about them.

First is the Smead Stadium File Organizer. This is great for all those stray papers and bills and all sorts of things. The tiers make it quite easy to see what you are looking for too.

I let my husband have this one because he needs that organization. He put certificates and bit of paper that I have no idea what he is going to use them for.

Oh and check these out!The pink oversized super tab file folders are just the thing I need for all my art papers. I have tons of papers and had nowhere to put them. Now, I do! The tabs make it great for writing what's inside too.

Now, these 3-in-1 Super Tab Section Folders really fit the bill for me. As you can see I have stashed smaller papers in these but I can also fit larger things in there too. These folders are two tiered which makes for nice added room. They come in four different colors and believe me, I have already over stuffed three of them.

I am just giddy over these. Thank you Shoplet and Smead!

Disclosure: I received these items in exchange for my open and honest review. The views expressed here are 100% my own and may differ from yours. ~Naila Moon

Monday's Music Moves Me...Freebie #MondaysMusicMovesMe

Hello my lovely musical friends! It has been very nice the last few days. I suppose that makes March madness not so mad. *chuckles* Ok, so bad joke. Let's just move on. Shall we?

It is Monday and that of course means it is time to hit the dance floor and start out the week with some rockin' music. This week is freebie week which means I get to pick the tunes that I am enjoying and would like you to hear.

Generally, I follow along some theme but this week is just going to be an eclectic mix. Have fun and make sure to link up. We will be around later. ~Naila Moon

First up: I have always liked this singer and lately, I have been just in to his music again. Although this is a slow song to start out with, I am just loving the sound. I give you, Justin Timberlake.  WARNING:slight nudity.

Next up: Let me kick it up a notch or two. Let's turn up the funk with a new singer to me Mark Runson but featuring, Bruno Mars!

This next one reminds me very much of club music but it is from one of my favorite groups. Here they are doing a cover of the group Daft Punk. I am sure  many of you have heard their incredible Christmas music. I give you Pentatonix!
