#Review: Black Hawaiian Lava Sea Salt

My husband and I do a lot of cooking. We use different spices to add to our food because we simply do not like bland food. Sea salt is one of those things we use on a regular basis so to try out this different kind of sea salt we found to be interesting.

One of the things that this black lava sea salt says is to use it as a finishing salt. We took heed to that. First we took a taste test before adding it to any of our food. The salt was stronger than the regular sea salt and left a bit of after taste. 

Yesterday, I had made some corned beef and cabbage, so today of course, we had left overs. I decided to finish off the dish with this black hawaiian lava sea salt and was divine!

When we added it to our actual food, the flavor only enhanced the food with out that same after taste. It also looked pretty on the food for a nice added color.

Since you only need a pinch per dish, this sea salt will stretch for quite a long time. I think it is worth having in your kitchen. We enjoyed this a lot!

  1. Well being terribly allergic to sea salt (it would probably kill me) I think maybe this would too. Sounds way to salty to me, but you enjoy my friend. Learn something new every day. Personally I never heard of it. ;)
