Freebie Week on Monday's Music Moves Me #MondaysMusicMovesMe @xmasdolly @RandomCoolChick @ETNHome @BakngInATornado

I am so, so late for the Monday's Music Train. I swear, one of these days they are going to boot me right out the train door. LOL Until then, let's rock and dance with the ladies of 4M's...Xmas Dolly (the engineer), Stacy, Cathy, and Alana who help keep things humming.

This week is a freebie week so let's get to it.

First up: This week, I discovered some more music by Avi Kaplan. He was the original base singer for Penatonix. The song I want to share has been drumming in my head since last week!

Next: Since I mentioned Penatonix, I wanted to share one of the songs they covered for the original contest they won. Marvin Gaye would have been thrilled!

Finally, since I mentioned Marvin Gaye, I will just finish up with this song. One of my favorites.

Have a great musical week!
Michelle

I enjoy listening to some a cappella occasional. I remember hearing them at one of the Rockefeller Center tree lightings. Who doesn't like the Marvin Gaye songs?

Ah, Marvin Gaye ..,

And I’d forgotten Pentatonix got their start on a singing contest show

Michelle,

Thanks for joining the 4M gang on the dance floor. I've always liked Pentatonix but I can only take so much of them, so I'm glad to learn that one of the former singers broke away to do his own thing. I really enjoyed Avi's song which is new2me. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

I never knew Pentatonix got its start on a singing contest song. Wow, they killed that song. I loved Marvin Gaye; he was the soundtrack of my late teens. Meanwhile that Avi Kaplan - that is some voice; I thought he was going to be running with the wolves by the end of the song! Have a fantastic week!
