Hello and happy September again. It's Monday's Music Moves Me time again. I swear it was just yesterday. Time is flying! I am not going to blab on today because I am feeling a bit weird-ish. Not sure what that is about. Anyway, let's get right into the music. First, don't forget to get in on the giveaway, it is on my side bar. Now, let's dance!

15 Years and Still Etched In Memory-Sept. 11th

15 years have gone by.

15 years my life has gone on but...

those 3000+ that were taken that day are forever etched in my memory.

As do others, I know where I was and what happened. I saw live on TV like others, but it is not something I care to rehash.

15 years have gone by and it is still painful.

 All I care to do is to remember and to never forget them.

Brooklyn Bean Roastery Breakfast Blend Single Cups #Coffee #Giveaway (10 Winners!)

Do you like a good cup of coffee? How do you like it? Dark roasted? Light Roasted? Flavored? The truth is, no two of us are alike when it comes to coffee. That is why it is nice to have a coffee maker that makes a single cup of coffee.

Beginning in 2012, the company, Two Rivers began perfecting their techniques by establishing the brand Brooklyn Bean Roastery. They made available the Keurig compatible single serve cups of known brands as well as their own special blends of flavors. That translates into pure joy every time you have a cup of coffee the way you like it.

Brooklyn Bean Roastery brands come in all sorts of flavors that make the coffee drinker smile. The company also makes cocoas, teas, and seasonal drinks.
One of the brands they distribute is the Breakfast Blend. This is a lighter blend of coffee that helps you wake up in the morning but not too over powering. I would compare it to sunshine in a cup.

My Mother tried this out for the first time and she said, "Wow, I love it!" She has been having at least one cup every morning since first trying it. Interesting enough, she has not put any cream in it either. This is unusual for her. I suppose the light sweetness is just enough.

#Halloween Party Decorations Review

I know we are barely into September but to me that means Fall is here. It also means Halloween is right around the corner. I love Halloween almost (but not quite) as much as I do Christmas.
I enjoy dressing up, playing fun spooky music, and going to Halloween parties.

Every party needs decorations though so, I was happy to received this Halloween Party Decorations. It has a least the beginnings of what could make a great party.

The kit comes with:
*Cardboard "Happy Halloween" banner
*Tissue paper spider garland
*Tissue paper ghost garland
*Tissue paper pumpkin garland
* 10 black and orange balloons

I hung up the garlands to see how they would look. The "Happy Halloween" one, as mentioned, is made from cardboard for the cutout letters.

The letters are pretty sturdy. They are held together by little gold brads that make each letter movable. The ends also have the brads but are not solid which makes the banner easier to hang up. It easily folded back together when I took it down.

The tissue garlands were not as easy to put up as I would have thought they would be. There is a string that runs through the middle of each garland. Before I opened each garland, that string was wrapped around the paper. This was not so much the issue as when I went to hang each one, the string got tangled up. This made it difficult to pull apart each one.

However, as you can see, I managed it and they hung nicely. Each garland measures about two yards long. I was careful taking them apart because the paper is thin tissue paper that could easily tear if I was not careful enough.

Each garland was two dimensional which made them pop off of the wall. That was a fun little extra than just seeing them flat and looking like paper dolls.
Adding the orange and black balloons seems like it is a fun addition to the kit but in my mind, not necessary either. The garlands stand on their own.

Overall, I liked this set and again, think it would be a nice start for a Halloween party or maybe a not-so-scary decorations for kids to have. Either way, Halloween will be fun.

Hello and happy September. We are moving right along into the year. It is amazing how fast it has gone. This is also the first Monday of the month and that means music. I am not going to blab on but get right down to the heart of the matter. First, don't forget to get in on the giveaway, it is on my side bar. Now, let's dance!

This week we have our Spotlight Dancer, Patrick, who wants to spin the tunes about being "Back to School",,,songs about teachers, students, and school. I think I can do that. Let's see what I have.

First up: The first song that popped into my mind was from the movie, "Grease". Now, this song is encouraging her to go back to school so...

Next: I love these students but that kid has got it going on!

Finally: Going back to school is so much more than just getting a good education. It is having fun and being together. We who are out of school usually remember our high school years. Right?
