Well, I am up at the un-godly hour of 5AM and anxious.
Today is moving day. There is not turning back. We have to move forward!
Change is always scary but it is also sometimes a good thing. This move I feel is a good thing. Just for me, it is full circle.
Almost three years ago, I came to Colorado with nothing but two suitcases full of clothes. My life had taken a dramatic turn and I literally had nothing to lose. At that time, I was about to change my life forever. I was about to come live with a man I had only met (on line) three weeks before. I suppose you could say, it turned out pretty good since I married him 4 months later! ta-hee
Anyway, here we are (2 1/2 years later) and both of us are returning to my home town. I am quite wiser, in love and have much more stuff! Best yet, I am returning to a family I love and have missed greatly. Yes, time ticks on and the dynamics of our family is changing but I need to be there and WE want to be there!
So, here we are and here we go on yet, another adventure. See you soon. I have got to go pack some boxes on the truck!

Stuff of the World and a perspective about it
As with many people, Japan and other parts of the world has been on my mind. I have friends that live there and like so many others, my thoughts went right to them.
I am happy to report they are safe but the daily things that continue to happy there does not make it that safe for them. However, the one friend continues to update and it makes me feel better.
I think the one thing we have to remember is that life continues to go on even in the face of diversity. We just have to remember to breathe and keep moving forward in all of it. I truly think that is what the Japanese people are doing as well as the Hatians, the people of India, the people of New Orleans, the people of.....they are living one day, one step, one breath at a time.
We can too.
I urge you to donate to the Red Cross if you can. Here is the donation link: RED CROSS DONATIONS
Most of all tell the ones near to you that you love them... Right now and then with the rest of the world, take one step at a time.
Peace,
Naila Moon

10 Thoughts Tuesday...The Fat Tuesday Edition..link up?!
1. I used to do 10 Thoughts a while back but got bored with it. I thought I would bring it back as a linky. Want to link up?
2. For those who link up I will pick and feature your blog for the following week.
3. Just came back from having lunch with my friend, Trish. She paid! Whoot!
4. I will miss her when I move.
5. Speaking of moving, it looks like my condo has been hit with a tornado. Ugh!
6. I will be SOOOOO glad when I get moved. When I originally moved here it was only two suit cases. What the heck happened?
7. Oh yeah, I got married and gained all of his stuff. lol
8. Ran out of black ink the other day. I just got some new and I am back in business.
9. What that actually translates in to is NOW I have to actually do the papers for class. sigh....
10. Fat Tuesday has arrived. Get your partying on and enjoy the day because Ash Wednesday is around the corner. *throws some beads and stuff your way*
Peace...Naila Moon

Pen Pal Letter Box
Not long ago I was thrift store shopping and came across a cute little dinosaur box. Inside the box happened to be a floor puzzle that of course was a dinosaur when put together. I thought how cute and bought it.
After bringing the box home I started to look at it with different eyes. I thought I would like to somehow tweak this box to make it...well...less kid-ish.
As it turned out, I happen to have a book for decoupage and decided to give it a go. I carefully cut scenes and photos I thought would look cute on it and started gluing.
It took me a few hours but I was quite satisfied with the results. I left the puzzle in the box (because I had no where else to put it) and decided to use my newly decorated box for my pen pal letters.
So now, those of you who are my pens pals, you have a special place in the new pen pal box!

PS> If you like writing letters or cards like I do, I encourage you to join either the pen pal exchange or join in the postcard exchange. Both button can be found on my page.

Conversations
"You like me, you really like me!" ~Sally Fields
---------------------------------------
Quite a while back I was having a conversation with someone I used to work with. We were having a discussion about what people really mean when they say things or better yet how we interpret the things people say.
I have to admit, I do not always interpret things the way people mean them or even saying them. After all being 95% deaf, that will happen. Sometimes this can cause serious laughter or much frustration!
Anyway, I wondered at the time, as I do now, is this what happens when we talk to one another? How many times have we said something or wrote something and it was taken out of context?
It is not so unusual for the things people say or write to also be quoted over and over that the original meaning has been lost or distorted.
Have you ever had that happen to you? You know what I mean?
