A couple of days ago I came across a blog called Cheap Therapy.
I then thought, ok, I could use a little and checked it out. What I found was a funny lady. Ok, cheap, funny and good therapy. I can do that.
What I also found was a project that she and another blogger, Karen's World are doing. The project is called appropriately Project 52.
What the project does is to list 52 things you would like to accomplish throughout the year. I know, sounds like resolutions..right? Well, not exactly. It is goals you really want to do, the majority of them being things you have never done before. Then the real kicker is you have to check in once a week with your buddies and see how you are doing. Accountability is key!
So, I thought...why not? So, I started writing the list 2 days ago! It turns out that this was not as easy of a task as I first thought. I mean sure, win a million dollars or own my own plane. Sounds good but I do not think at this time in my life that I can quite be accountable for it. I am not saying that it is impossible just not right now, for I work on everything is possible.
Side note: If you want to read a great blog on the word "impossible" go here---> Single Dad Laughing

This is a great list! I'm glad to have you on board!
So many of us have set goals about learning Spanish. I think we might have to do something about that!
Great post. I am going to check out your links. Gerry
You put together a great list. They all sound very attainable too.....
First, before I forget, Love the look of your blog, the stars and ribbons are so cute. I think the soft pink color is beautiful and the aquarium widget is mesmerizing!
Now, to the list. You did a great job coming up with 52 goals for 2011. I would have to sit and ponder, for quite a while, to come up with 52.
You want to move back to Missouri? I wish I had never left there!
Have a blessed evening,
Shawn
I love how we all have similar yet very different lists! I have yet to come up with all 52... I look forward to seeing your posts and let me know if I can be of any help in the encouragement department!
Naila,
We lived in a small town...Very Small Town..of 325 people. The name of the town is Wheaton which is about 50 miles southeast of Springfield. My fondest memories are having my six little ones, in our tiny farm house, sixteen acres to play on and all the many, and varied, animals that we raised.
My hubby decided to move the family to Denver for a business opportunity that went south after several years. Moving to Denver was the beginning of the end of our marriage.
Even though I am remarried, I still resent Denver for the loss of the family unit that I once cherished.
Isn't that strange that I resent a city.....go figure!

Love your list! I especially like your goal to dance in the rain. I'm definitely putting that one on my list next year ;)
Great list! Good luck with your goals. There really is nothing better than dancing in the rain, especially with your hubby!
That is a great list!
I SO NEED A MASSAGE!
If you read the first Harry Potter book, you'll want to read the rest. They're so good.
When you say read a Harry Potter book, does that mean you've NEVER read a Harry Potter book? Oh, you must do that first! Great list and thanks for joining in. I hope you have a blast crossing everything off your list!
