Hello my musical people. It is that time again to spin some tunes and kick it on the dance floor. This is the next to the last week before September 2016 is a memory. This week we have Fall coming in to the world too which I am very excited about.
Don't forget to enter the giveaway we have going on. It ends this week too. Check out my sidebar for that.
This week it seems it is my turn to choose a theme. Yep, I am in the Spotlight! I thought it would be fun to pick songs that are all about music. But we do that every week, don't we? Well, yes and no. This weeks theme is to choose songs about music but the word music does not necessarily have to be in the title. So, go on, have fun!
Next up: I have only heard this group from people doing covers. So, when I heard them it was a pleasant surprise. I think you will like them as the sing about giving life back to...well, music.
Finally: We all know that Joan Jett loves rock 'n roll, but did you know she likes Good Music too?

I thought we'd post the same song again, but nope. You have some good picks. Have a great week!
Naila Moon, I Write the Songs is a oldie but goodie! I always liked it, as well as most of Barry Manilow's music. He was on top of the world in the 70s and 80s. I had an English teacher in high school who had the world's biggest crush on him and it's funny every time I hear one of his songs I think about her. lol Congrats on being this week's Spotlight Dancer. Good theme choice! I hope you'll get a chance to weigh in on Sept. 15th BoTB before the poll closes Wednesday, here. Have a songsational week!
Congrats on being the Spotlight Dancer. Great theme. Love your songs.
CONGRATS on your position! Woo Hoo and now for some real music... great choices and I think everyone had good choices today! We're getting some people that don't know our music routines... grrrr... oh well! I helped out and put no music. LET'S ROCK!
Great to hear that one by Barry Manilow again.
Congrats on being spotlight dancer! And thanks for sharing these tunes.
Happy Thursday!
