Rocking Out With Monday's #Music Moves Me #MondaysMusicMovesMe

Welcome back to another fabulous week. To start off every work week, the gals at Monday's Music Moves Me spins some tunes to get your work week going.  This week is a freebie week which means you play the tunes that suit your fancy.

SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT:
Follow me on my new Facebook Page HERE

I think I have an idea of where I want to go this week but I am not really sure. Let's see what I can come up with.

First up: My son posted this group on Facebook and I thought they were fantastic. So without further ado: Prima Nocta (Note: this is not the video my son posted, I could not find it but this is the group.

Moving on: I thought I would just keep on with a drum theme. Next, one of my favorite bands that had a great drummer and awesome lead singers was Genesis.

Finally, all though, I liked this next band, it was my twin brothers that loved them. It was not unusual to here them rockin' our house. I give you 6 whole minutes of RUSH.

Make sure you sign the linky so we can come to hear your music too.
Have a good week.

Musically inclined,
Michelle aka Naila Moon

"Invisible Touch" is not playing; says it is not available in my country. But you did have me at the bagpipes (I LOVE hearing bagpipes) and Rush is also one of my favorite groups. Have a great week! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

Great songs. I couldn't get "Invisible Touch" but I went to You Tube. I love that song.

I used to play bagpipes (a little more military than these guys), so I liked Prima Nocta's approach to the instrument (and the bagpipes they're using are unique).

Michelle,

Your first and last song selections are new-to-me but my favor is "Invisible Touch" which by the way the video doesn't work. Phil Collins is a good drummer. I even married a drummer. DH played during our dating years. Anyhow, I always like Genesis and when he started his solo career I wondered how it would go but as we know he did alright. Have a boogietastic week, my friend!

Hi Michelle,
Happy Tuesday! First, I love those kitties on the turntables! Lol. That gave me a good giggle this evening. Thanks for that!

I felt like I was at a Celtic festival with your first song. That was some heavy drumming! It was interesting. I'm not familiar with the group Prima Nocta. I don't think I could listen to them at length though, if all their songs are like this one...But I'm sure I'd be digging it in a festival setting. :) I used to go to a Drumming Circle here locally that was very cool and very spiritual. Have you ever done a drumming circle before? I wish that one I was frequenting wouldn't have disbanded. It was some nice spiritual nourishment and a great way to decompress...

The Genesis video didn't play for me but I went to YouTube and checked it out. I love Genesis and Phil Collins. Talk about a successful solo career after leaving the band! He's amazing. Invisible Touching is a great song. I like a lot of Genesis albums but probably my most favorite -- or at least the one that brings back the best memories --- is Trick of the Tail. Do you like that album?

Rush definitely has some significant drumming. I saw them in concert back in the day (70s). I featured Red Barchetta in the Red edition of my color series. I like that song. I like a few Rush songs but I'm not a Rush loyalist. To me, I put Rush in the category with the band Yes... in that I like some of their songs and I can listen to them for a while, but not too long as it's only a short while before I find myself feeling like "Egads! My ears are hurting and need a break!" Know what I mean?

Hey, I wanted to apologize for missing your Number theme last week. I had started to put my playlist together and was excited about it because it's a great theme! But I just ran out of time and I wanted to do it justice so I'm going to post my Numbers playlist for one of my upcoming Freebie weeks. Of course I'll credit you via name and I'll link back to your Numbers post.

Have a great week Michelle...
