I'm here...I'm hear/Monday's Music

Hi everyone! *waves at the computer*

I am back and feeling sassy! Ok, not really sassy but I am back. In case you didn't hear, Tamirisc and I are now back in Colorado and together after 4 months of seperation. It was terribly tough but we are stronger too.

I cannot think of a better way to return to Bloggerville than rocking out with Xmas Dolly and the crew at Mondays Music Moves Me. I do love music ya know! This weeks theme is music you listened to as a teen.

Ironically, I just happened to be listening to some of it today. I was in high school during the 80's so that should give you a clue. Here is a sampling:

It is good to be back among you. Come and see me tomorrow for 10 Thoughts.

  7. Love your selections. I always thought Ah Ha's Take on Me was ages ahead of its' time and I still think it has to be one of the best videos and songs of all time.

Karma... by Culture Club, great song and interesting group.

Tears for Fears, great group and song.

We are the world was such a huge effort and great video and song. Everyone, or nearly everyone of the day was there.

Great choices, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  8. What fabulous music! You're not that too far behind me. These groovy songs came out in the early 80s when I was in my early 20s. I just love all of these and what a great way to start the week. Thanks for linking up with us on Monday's Music Moves Me

  9. I agree with above about Ah-Ha. Waaay ahead of it's time. Still one of my favorite songs and the video makes it. It was incredible the way it went from real to sketch! I grew up with Tears for fears but during my early working days. That's for an awesome listen!
