Hey, I am back for another Monday's Music. I was chosen as the Spotlight Dancer so, of course I had to play. This week I have chosen British Invasion. Now, it can be present singers, past singers, or groups. I think you would be surprised how many of our beloved performers are indeed British.

First up: One of my favorite groups is also one of the oldest around. Freddy Mercury was their lead singer and song writer. Although he has had a replacement or two, his vocalizations are still widely loved to this day. One of my favorite songs from his group, Queen is this one:
Next up: This next singer I never knew to be British, but indeed he is. I loved his music when he was most popular in the 1980's. One of his most famous and award winning songs is this one. I give you, Billy Ocean.
Finally: This singer has been another favorite of mine for years. Even with suffering a great loss of his son, he wrote one of the most well known and heartfelt songs. This song by Eric Clapton was also well know and a winner as well.
BONUS: I know all of my artist are male artist. Maybe next time I will post only female artist. So, on to my BONUS song. I would be terribly amiss if I did not include the following band. They were what the British Invasion was all about. They just happened to have made a song named after me. LOL
