Summer 2017 Biannual Blogathon Bash! I Am A Go? #blogathon2

It has been awhile since I participated in the Blogathon Bash. I love this time though, as I get a ton done. This time around, I am late signing up and getting even started. 

However, the beauty of the bash is it can work with your schedule and thank goodness for that because I am one big mess this weekend. 

So, here are a few goals for the rest of the bash:

1. Get a couple of blogs pre-posted for this blog and definitely my reading blog, Reading Authors

(I have little net time during the week now.)

2. Fix my other blog as something went wacky over there.

3. Follow up with commenting for Kid Lit Hop

4. Clean up and out my email/install an undescribed

5. Catch Sunday's Twitter party.

6. Clean up and catch up with my Facebook pages

7. If time, do a mini-challenge or two

I will be lucky if I can finish all of that but I will do my best!

Biannual Blog-a-thon Weekend Launch. Are you there? #blogathon2

It's here! The Biannual Blog-a-thon is finally here and I am only 7 hours late in my launch post. I couldn't sleep last night so once I did, I ended up sleeping in late. Ah well, no matter, we can certainly start at any time. So, here I am!

For those who are unaware, this weekend is designed to get that to-be-done pile for blogging down to a workable breathe. We all know that blogging does not always mean physical blogging either, it can mean many things. I began by straightening my desk so I could see my laptop.
For other examples, here is what I have in mind to do this weekend:

1. Clean the bathroom...oh wait, that is another list. 
2. Review several books and pre-post them.
3. Pre-post a week of blogs for this page
4. Reorganize my desk drawers (I can't find stuff!)
5. Update Facebook pages
6. Tweet during the Twitter chat (This is fun!)
7. Write a few stories
8. Do a few mini-challenges
9. Create a new blogger book
10. Update social media pages
11. Drink wine.  Just seeing if you were paying attention!
12. Eat, breathe, sleep, repeat

As with the last blog-a-thon, I have a  blogging buddy. She is a bit bigger than last time and is going to be two soon. She also knows how to use the keyboard these days although, admittedly, unless you can decipher her works, you may not understand.

Anyway, she wanted me to post her photo so here she is!

Blog-a-thon kickin' it off! #blogathon2 6/23/14 AN UPDATE

6/23/14 UPDATE
Well, I did not get through my goals for the blogathon this time.(See beginning blog below)
However, I did break a nail or two, I did manage to get some review/giveaways done. Sunday seemed like a bust for me as I could not focus on what needed to be done. I was so scattered.

Somehow, I missed all the Twitter parties but the very last one. That was fun. It was nice to catch up with some blogger buds too.

Over all, the blogathon is well worth the time and that is a true fact. Join in for the 2015 one to be announced soon.

Here it is again the blog-a-thon weekend where some of us bloggers...the cool ones of course (HA!)...take an entire weekend to do what we do best, blog!  Well, sort of anyway.

What happens really is many things that have to do with blogging. We all know that does not necessarily mean actual blogging as there is a lot of prep work too.

Blogging also means cleaning up our to do list, deleting the 1000 emails that have piled up, changing our backgrounds and making them look pretty,and more...it really means so much.

That is the essence of blog-a-thon weekend to take the time to do all of it or at least a good chunk and yes, blog too.  Oh and participating in tweet chats and this blog-a-thon gets you some prizes too.

So, this is my start off point for the weekend. I am getting started late and I will be off and on with it as I have life plans this weekend too.

Official Start of Biannual #Blogathon2

Here it is, the start of the Biannual Blogathon. I techincally only started an hour and a half ago, that would be 11:30AM MST, but there were a few issues. First of all, I woke up late. Great time for me to decide to sleep in. Then, of all days, Google went down!

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?! Why today of all days does Google have to go down?

Twitter was blowing up about Google being down. One Tweeter...if that is what you call a person who tweets...went so far as to say the world was coming to an end. Oh, good grief! Still, it was a problem especially to get "officially" going for the blogathon.

However, here I am and working away on day one of the blogathon. Here is what I have thus far on my agenda for the weekend:
1. Post giveaways for another blogger
2. Set up a giveaway for an author
3. Revamp this blog for Febraury
4. Write & prepost at least 3 blogs
5. Write a blog for follow Friday...hmm...does this count?
6. Clean up my Pinterest boards
7. Change my Twitter background
8. Add giveaways to my hubbies blog
9. Make another A-Z video
10. Review some of the books in my stack
11. Possibly work on the book I want to write
12. Organize my blogger book
13. Upload photos to my Facebook page
14. Pitch
15. Make a new blog button for my blog and fix the one for 4M's
16. Participate in Twitter parties
17. Take photo daily to tweet.
18. Host the aliens that have come to my house from another planet.
19. Kidding, just seeing if you are paying attention.

Biannual Blogathon Bash

I am really excited to start a new session of the Biannual Blogathon Bash. I did this a year ago and had a blast doing it. I dedicated time for it and got things done. I even won a prize then too.

I am looking forward to see what Kathleen has drummed up for this bash. I know for sure it will be a winner.
