Monday's Music Moves Me and A Spark! #MondaysMusicMovesMe #IGiveSparks

Well, hello again my musically inclined friends. I have good news! I finally have my net fixed again and hopefully, it will stay that way.

Before I begin with this week's theme. I want to hand out a spark to get your week going. If you would like to join those of us trying to start the week out positive, join the linky HERE

.
Well, now, this is the first month that we will begin having a co-host that chooses the themes for the month. Of course, you know Marie, who runs this musical shin-dig and Cathy and Stacy who co-conduct. We also welcome Alana on her first true co-conducting tour. We still send out love to Callie who is on hiatus.

This month will be John from "The Sound of One Hand Typing." He is well known to the A-Z Challengers as a co-host and to the 4M's as a strong player. Happy to have you aboard this month as a conductor. His first theme of the month is songs that start with each letter of your name. You can use your first, middle, or last name. Wow! Okay!

I have a very long name whether I use my real name or the one you most know me by. So, put your dancing shoes on and stay awhile! Here we go...

M: What better fit than starting out with a song that has my name in it!

I: From Whitney Houston

C: From the Mamas and the Papas

H: From Neil Diamond

E: From Tears for Fears

L: Another from Neil Diamond

L: From David Bowie

E: Finally, from Michael Jackson

G is for Glorious! H is for Hallelujah! #atozchallenge #MondaysMusicMovesMe #IGiveSparks

Hey everyone,

Crazy week this past week and probably this week too but I am powering away to come by and say hello. First, a spark to get you up and going for this Monday.

Sorry that I did not get by last week. I do see you and love your postings!
I realized I also did not get my posting done in time for "G" for it to pre-post. So, this episode of Monday's Music Moves Me will include a song for "G" and "H"! The theme this week is also, "Easter songs" so, this should be challenging.

Don't forget to link up your music post below!

Let's move it, shall we?

First up(G): I enjoy praise and worship music sometimes as much as other genres of music. Here is one sign language team that is signing to a group I like called Casting Crowns. The song is "Glorious Day" which is actually considered an Easter song. I am not sure why the tree behind them then.

Next (H): I love the group Pentatonix. This song is signed by a young man and woman out in a gorgeous setting. I hope you enjoy this one.

Happy musical day! ~Michelle aka Naila Moon

Monday's Music Moves Me...Names of Places! #IGiveSparkles #MondaysMusicMovesMe #music

Hey, happy Monday evening! I am here to rock some tunes late in the evening with you. I am stepping in and co-hosting for a bit while Callie is out. I hear our other 4M co-host are in limbo too but that does not be we won't be with you eventually. Then, of course, there is our hostess of the mostess Marie, aka Xmas Dolly, who is holding down the fort as always.

Before I get to the music, I have a Spark for you!

~Ronald Dahl

So, I understand we have a spotlight dancer this week, Ellen, who picked a cool theme.  She has picked "Names of Places"!  Example:  Cities, States, places you go or seen... get the idea?  Thanks, Ellen great idea!!!

Let me see...hmm...

First up: This is maybe not exactly what she had in mind but it certainly the first song I have in mind. Let's rock it, shall we?

Next up: I love to travel and go places. Japan is a place I would like to go and see some day. Best yet, I have a friend that lives there! This artist is new to me but I love his vibe.

Next: I am pretty sure I would not do a Safari unless it was strictly photography. However, if I was, I would certainly do it in this place!

One more? Why not!
Finally: As many of you know, I lived in Denver for a few years. I actually miss Colorado as much as I miss my home state of Missouri. I feel no one could sing better about Colorado than John Denver.

Make sure to link up and play along. Peace out...Michelle aka Naila Moon

Monday's Music Moves Me...Freebie Week #MondaysMusicMovesMe #IGiveSparkles

Hey ya all! I am actually getting here on time for the 4M's! I suppose that is a good thing since I am back co-hosting while Callie is out for a bit. Please put in some good vibes for her. After you listen to my musical selections, follow along with the hop down below.
------------

Before I get to the music though, I started a couple of weeks ago giving out what is called, "sparks" along with McGuffys Reader. Her intent is to start every Monday with an inspirational quote.

-----------------------------------

So, now on to the music. This week it is a freebie week which is always fun to do. I think I am going to stick with the inspirational idea though. So, hang on.

First up: Since this past Saturday was St. Patrick's Day, I got a lot of inspiration with postings on Facebook. I love how Peter Hollins uses his voice to put beautiful and inspirational music together.

Next up: I find a lot of inspiration in just the happiness of people. This song alone makes me happy. What about you?

Finally: I think Lindsey Sterling is one of the most diverse violinists and inspirational players of our time. This songs with John Legend speaks to me.

What inspires you?
