Monday's Music Moves Me...Color Me with Music

Good evening folks. Can you imagine that I am THIS late for Monday's Music Moves Me? Not surprised? Ah, well, at least I have arrived to play along with the music train hosted by Xmas Dolly and co-hosts, Cathy, Stacy, and Callie! Link up below to play along all week long!

So, this week, they have an interesting theme of: Color Me with Music. In other words, the song has to have a color in its name at the very least. Check out what I have for you.

First up: This song came up right away when I was thinking of songs. I love this favorite green frog!

Next up: I have always wondered what it would be like to ride in a red Corvette. Prince knew and sang about it!

In fact, he knew about Purple Rain too.

Finally: in a world where there has been too much tension, this song speaks about simply getting along. Two of the best singers, Sir Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder came together to sing this hit

Mondays Music Moves Me

Today is Monday and that can only mean Mondays Music hosted by Xmas Dolly. This weeks theme is all about color but to throw a little curve in there we can also post a song from our high school prom theme (that is if we went).

So, to add a little treat for you, I am posting two photos of me my Senior year (circa 1986). These are the only two photos that survived from back then. Remember the hoops?

For some reason, I actually remember the theme which was, "Almost Paradise" from the song that year. So, obviously my first video today is...

Monday's Music & Meet Me Monday

This week for Monday's Music, hosted by the very nice lady at Xmas Dolly, is the theme of weather or colors. Well, since I was being crazy with the weather in my last post, ( you can go HERE to see that one) I picked colors.

I have always like the character in the video I picked. His voice is great and he always sings the best songs. Enjoy! :)

2.  What was the first car you ever owned?  

Technically, the first car I owned was a Ford Fiesta like this one. I co-owned it with my Mom. It was also a stick shift.

 
However, the first car I truly owned on my own was this Chevy Cavalier that I called "Freedom". My son wrecked it not two months after I bought her. sigh....

 
3.  Which TV Show were you sad to see end? 

Side note: Did you know that the actor, John Dye, that played the Angel of Death, died in January of heart failure?

4.  What is your lucky number? 

 
5.  Pretzels or Potato Chips?

I not only like potato chips better but I like this particular kind.
