Thankful Thursday and A Song/Valentine's Day 2-14-2013

Here it is the big Valentine's Day. It also happens to be Thursday and another day to be thankful for the things of the week.

Although, I am not a huge Valentine's Day person (just ask Tamirisc), I am thankful for the loved ones I have.

Thankful for the love my parents had for each other, that I am here today.

Thankful for my children who make me laugh (and cry too) and thankful for my grand-children who are just simply precious.

Most of all today though, I am thankful for the  love of my Tamirisc.

Very recently, we have been going through a rough time with our extended families but side by side we are able to wade through this mud.  It makes it easier knowing that his love for me is sometimes the only thing that keeps me sane.

I make an effort to tell him that I love him everyday or at very least in my actions.

So, knowing that he will eventually read this...I LOVE YOU HONEY!
I am most grateful for you in my life. Thanks for loving me.

*L

*Looking, loving and laughing

I am not sure many people out there in Bloggerville know but I met my husband back in late 2007 on line. Yes, on line! I met him face to face and officially in 2008 when I flew out to Colorado. He got one good look at me and it was history, we married four months later.

Ours is a whirl wind romance, literally as we got engaged the same weekend I met him. As we have been married almost 4 years, I think we do ok.

Loving one another no matter who you are with takes work...real work...and it isn't always the lovey-dovey stuff that movies make it out to be. Oh but sometimes it can be and sometimes it is!

However, I do not mind admitting that sometimes I just don't want to be in the same room with him. (Yeah, he just read that over my shoulder too. He said, "Oh really!")

Most times though, I want to be near him and laugh with him. He makes me laugh!  Here is proof:

He is not even a huge football fan.

My Lucky Charm?

See what I mean, how could I not keep laughing when he goofs off as much as I do AND let's me take his photo to boot. Ah, for sure, it must be love.

I am lucky. I know I am.
