Dear Anonymous,
It has been so kind of you to post your well thought out comments to my blog. However, the time has come that I must break our friendship.
It is me, not you. I can't stand that the comments you leave have nothing to do with my blog. I also really have no desire to come visit your blog about loans or dating or something totally arbitrary. Also, if you had a photo or another name, well, it might have made it better.
Sorry, this is the end and now, you are blocked. Goodbye.

PS> I am sorry to the other real bloggers who now are stuck with being a registered user including open ids. It just had to be this way.

Last month I had to put on comment verification for all posts for a few weeks first then I backed it off to just posts older than two weeks because they were becoming a pain. Anonymous comments can be a pain!
I completely understand your reasoning behind the block! I can't tell you how MANY Anonymous comments I get on a daily basis; once I actually got 400 overnight o.O
Anonymous definitely can be a pain like Jen said!
When I moved I happened to go back there to see if there was any comments and I cannot begin to tell you how many there were over 100 and guess what it was all anonymous. So, what I mean to say that Mr. Anonymous has been cheating on you anyway, and the little whoremunger needs to get the BOOT! I GAVE HIM THE OLD HEAVE HO TOO! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
