Hello everyone, welcome back to Monday's Music Moves Me.
It is a sun-shiny day which is quite welcome after all the rain and tornado weather we had.

This weekly musical adventure is hosted by none other than Xmas Dolly and cot-hosted by Callie,Cathy, Stacy and myself. Oh and look at this...Becca has agreed to join (permanently) our musical train too. Whoo hoo!

To round this day up. I did one of those goofy surveys on Facebook that half the time doesn't mean diddly squat. This one didn't either really. I think this one was what song represents you. So, this was my results.

Pimento Cheese

I found this recipe on Facebook that was posted from the ladies of Sweet and Savory Sisters. My intention is to save to Pinterest for future reference but I thought you all might enjoy this too.

Growing up we often had store bought pimento cheese. It is something I actually enjoy on hamburgers. My parents simply liked it spread over bread like a sandwich.

This could be very interesting to make and have.

Mom’s Minner Cheese (Pimento Cheese)

What you will need-
4 cups sharp cheddar cheese at room temperature, finely grated
3 cups Monterey jack cheese at room temperature, finely grated
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
¼ cup onion, grated
2 4 ounce jars pimento, with juice
1 cup mayonnaise (add more if you like it real mayonnaisy)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon white pepper
For something a little different, add one of these-
½ cup jalapeno slices, chopped
1 4.25 oz can chopped olives
3 teaspoons capers
¾ cup toasted pecans

Let’s make some of Mama’s Minner Cheese-
We need to tell you the 411 on store-bought shredded cheese. Pre shredded cheese has a preservative added to keep it from clumping. Therefore, when you add the mayo to the cheese, it just doesn’t combine and form the right texture. Now, we do use it from time to time and it works great on a lot of different things. However, it does not work well when making pimento cheese. Also, let your cheese come to room temp before you grate it. We know we put it up there in the list of things you will need but we want to re-emphasize the importance of this step. Now that we have given you the 411 on the 911 let’s get to making the minner cheese. This is an easy one, folks. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and serve it anyway you would like. Store your minner cheese in the fridge.

I do think this will be a fun game show to watch as kids make me laugh and I think these kids would too. Are you going to watch? It airs Saturdays at 8pm ET/7pm CT on ABC starting May 31st.

Monday's Music Moves Me...Southern Rock #MondaysMusicMovesMe

Here we are into June and the first Monday as well. Of course that only means it is time to rock on out with the Monday's Music Crew. You know us...lead by Xmas Dolly and co-hosted by Stacy, Callie, Cathy and Me.  Cathy is taking a vacation break and our friend, Becca is hanging out with us once again until she returns.

We are starting out the month with a theme this week and one I do not think we have done before. Let's see what "Southern Rock" you have in your play list this week.

First up for me is from the Kentucky Head Hunters. I love the guitar work!

Next is actually a little slow down but is a bit of nostalgia for me as it was my graduating class song. Hail to Lynrd Skynyrd!

Finally, I am going to go with this group who has always been a favorite. Alabama...
