It is Monday and that can only mean it is music time hosted by Xmas Dolly. This week is kind of a funky theme for the 4M's which is favorite commercials past or present. I suppose that still qualifies doesn't it? I mean many commercials have music in them.
I'm not going to be grooving too much this week anyway as I am stiff as a board. So, let's get to it.
When I first saw this was the theme for the week, this first one came to mind:(from 1970)
This next one I remember singing every time we would go by that section of the grocery aisle:(from 1974)
The next one is actually a Christmas commercial but definitely a favorite: (from 1988)

Finally, I think if my hubby had done a commercial he would have looked like this back in the day: (from 1973)

Like Cathy, I had totally forgotten the Folgers commercial, but it had been a favorite Oscar Meyer was one I remembered too, and I would have eaten their ham cold, never bologna. I loved the C&H commercials they always made me smile.
And the Pepsi commercial, well we know why ET stayed around so much he liked Pepsi.
Oh, I almost picked the Coke commercial, I loved that commercial and I love the Folger one too, and I did pick Oscar Mayer. Memory lane for sure!
I used to sing that C&H sugar jingle just as much as the bologna commercial. Love it when I was young. Thanks for the memories.

What a great job! I don't know why I didn't think of that coke one or anybody else for that fact. You're the first one. All of these are favorites of mine, but I've never seen the last one. lol Yep, it really was different theme this week & tons of fun, but you know what the girl who suggested it isn't even playing so I left her a note. OH well plus if you'll see in my comments someone left a whole bunch of suggestions so we'll see. Have a great day. Cottage cheese and mandarin oranges for lunch. Pretty good huh?
