Hello everybody!  It is Monday and Mardi Gras is winding down. *throws some beads your way* All the partiers are out on the streets and still enjoying some good food and fun while waiting for the Lenten season to begin.

Since it is also, Monday that means it is  Music Moves Me time hosted by the lovely Xmas Dolly.

I thought I would toss out some party music for you today. So keeping with Mardi Gras, let's start out with this one:

Next up, you can't have New Orleans unless you have this:

How about we mambo to this:

Finally let's head on down the street to this:

Peace ya all...

Ooooo Girl! I love the Mardi Gras music you shared this week! Now I'm craving some beignets and king cake.

Thanks for playing along for MM and sharing some songs from the Big Easy. So fun!

Oh wow! I've heard all these too! What great choices. I have not heard them in so very long. Thanks for sharing & have a great week. Thanks for stopping by and so you sound like Karen Carpenter do you? We should do a duet some time. LOL Have a good one. I love this meme. Dolly sure had a great idea when she put this together & she's such a nice lady.

How cool is that!

Yeah, that is what I have been told. To sing a duet with you would be...well...cool! ;-)
Actually, my voice is now so untrained I imagine it would not be so great. I do love to sing though.

That first one sounds like a fun one! I like Harry Connick Jr, I would love to be in New Orleans just once in my lifetime for Mardi Gras!

Harry Connick Jr. seems to be fading out thought don't you think? I've seen him on different shows & movies. Can't remember the last concert I've seen him in. This song he has totally changed his style. He use to sound like Frank Sinatra, not this one. Love you choices girlfriend. Sorry I'm bringing up the rear here been having my therapy on Mondays, but it's almost over & I'll be back in the groove.

Louis Armstrong totally rocks! I read somewhere someone saying he'd never make it as a singer. LOL I guess he proved them wrong, eh? I had totally forgotten about Mardi Gras. This was a great way to fill in your freebie picks for this week, though. Thanks for visiting yesterday!

If you're going to throw me beads... do I have to take my top off?

Jk... it's chilly in here.

Awesome picks!

I am going to go someday. I was in New Orleans like when I was 10 but that does not count.
You should decide to go and go!

LOL-um...no

I like Harry Connick originally because he sounded like Frank Sinatra. I liked this new style too. I just recently saw where he is going to be in another show. I think he wants to act now more than sing. It is a shame really.
