1. The term snowman came into existence only sometime between the years 1820-1830. It is not really know who made the first snowman.
2. Even though no one is quite sure, it is possible that the snowman began in Russia as children's response to sightings of the Yeti.
3. The world's tallest snowman built in 2008 was 122ft 1inch. It weighed a whopping 13,000,000 pounds. The snowman was built in Bethel, Maine.

Watching Frosty was great, they really knew how to do cartoons back then. So nice to see something that was really for the family and not heavy with built in messages.
Why does it not surprise me that the tallest snowman is a Penguin? Just proves your mother is everywhere...
