Bible Series Premiere and Walmart $15 GC Giveaway

When I was a child my parents had given me my very own large Children's Bible. It was filled with pictures and stories that were easily understandable. Later on I read these same stories as an adult in another edition they had given me.

In fact, my Mother collected Bibles and had many editions in our home that were fully accessible to us if we wanted to look at them or read them.

That is why I find it interesting that on March 3rd beginning at 8PM (check your local listenings) the History Channel is going to present a 10 part miniseries retelling many of the stories that I grew up with. Check out the clips from the miniseries too. Looks pretty awesome to me.

From Executive Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett comes The Bible — an epic 10-part miniseries retelling stories from the Scriptures for a whole new generation. Breathtaking in scope and scale, The Bible features powerful performances, exotic locales and dazzling visual effects that breathe spectacular life into the dramatic tales of faith and courage from Genesis through Revelation. This historic television event is sure to entertain and inspire the whole family!

If this is not enough excitement for you then guess what?

There is a giveaway attached to this premier! That's right!

In working with the History Channel, they will provide one of my readers with a $15 Walmart Gift Certificate.

Isn't that great?

So check out the premier's countdown and make sure to watch on March 3rd.  Will you recognize your favorite characters from the Bible? Watch and find out!
