Green Cleaning Products Review & Giveaway!

I don't know about you but I am someone who would prefer to live 'green' if I had half of a chance. I would recycle everything, grow my own food and use everything 'green'.

Unfortunatley, I just can't do all of it. I do what I can.

So, I was really happy when I was recently, given the chance to review some 'green' products from the Green Cleaning Coach, Leslie Reichert.

"Leslie Reichert, “The Cleaning Coach”, is a nationally-recognized green home keeping expert dedicated to educating people on keeping their homes, schools and work areas “green”."

I received a cleaning kit with an e-book called, "The Joy of Green Cleaning"  which has all sorts of tips and "recipes" from glass cleaning to oven cleaning.  It is worth getting the book! You can find the book HERE and HERE.

The kit included an Eco sponge, glass cleaning cloth and the "ultimate 'paper' towel". To say these products weren't amazing would do them injustice.

the whole "green kit"
Here you see the Eco sponge. Tamirisc and I cleaned the top of the stove, the bathroom sink and kitchen sink with it and all we used was water!  This sponge really took off the grime. The little yellow section acts as the scrubby part.
"the ultimate 'paper' towel"-
The purple cloth you see here is actually a bit stiff until you go to clean up some mess. It literally replaces the need for 15 rolls of paper towels!  Simply run it under water to clean it off and you are ready to use it again.

Now, I am ready to tell you about the window cloth, check this out:

So. if you want some good green products I recommend you check out the Green Cleaning Coach, Lisa Reichert and purchase some of these if you can. It is worth it especially if you have allergies or just want to go green.  I am certainly happy to have them in my home. ~Naila Moon

Would you like to win your own Green Cleaning Starter Kit? Well, guess what? You can!
Enter in the Rafflecopter below.

Disclosure: I received the Green Cleaning Starter Kit in exchange for my open and honest opinion. Just The Stuff Ya Know/Naila Moon is not responsible for prize shipment.  The giveaway ends March 7, 2013 at 12 AM.

I learned how to keep the toilet bowl cleaner longer. Swish the toilet every morning with your toilet brush. This will keep the bowl cleaner so you don’t have to clean as often.

I learned Keep a small battery operated vacuum in the bathroom and run it every day on the floors. This will keep the hair and lint to a minimum!

That will definitely be remembered for our household.

Thank you for this great giveaway :)

A good green way to unplug a plugged drain instead of using toxic draino or any other chemical is use baking soda and viniger.

Make sure as much water is out of the sink/tub as possible. The poor a 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain (making sure it goes down the drain) then pour a cup of viniger down the drain making sure to cover the drain IMMINENTLY after. so as to keep the fizzing bubbling inside the drain. You will eventually hear the bubbling and fizzing slow down. - once it slows down remove the "cover" and follow with a pot of boiling hot water.

Depending on how badly stopped up the drain is you may have to repeat the process or plung the drain. - generally however once is good enough to unstop the drain.

There are less risks of skin irritation, inhaling of foul substance etc. To remedy this, people have been coming up with their own green cleaning recipe or are using natural substances for almost every phase of cleaning today.
