Oh yeah, it is time to hit the dance floor and boogie on down to the hottest tunes with the hottest music meme around. It is time for Monday's Music Moves Me hosted by XmasDolly and the dance floor cuties of Cathy, Colette, Stacy and yours truly!
Our Spotlight Dancer this week is Gillian! Shake it girl!
Don't forget we have an unbelievable extravaganza coming up with prizes galore. This is a do not want to miss for our 200th episode!
Ok now, on to the tunes!
This week is theme week and it is showing off the ladies of the 60's- 80's. This should be fairly easy but we shall see.
Starting off with the 60's: The Marvelettes were an all American girl group that consisted of school friends, Gladys Horton, Katherine Anderson, Georgeanna Tillman, Juanita Cowart, Georgia Dobbins and Wanda Young. The group eventually became just the three.
Moving on into the 70's: This gal, originally lead singer for the Supremes, broke off on her own in 1970 and never turned back. She made many a song for herself with a solo career. She also happens to be a favorite of mine from the 70's era.
Rounding out this musical day of women we hop into the 80's: As with the 70's there are so many mentionable names that could be dropped. However, the anthem for girls of the 80's came from this gal. As with all women, we are a force to be reckoned with but boy sometimes, we just like to have fun too!

These are some women lady tunes! I haven't heard that Diana Ross song since I was a little girl. Wow.
excellent picks this week I was a massive fan of Diana Ross/Supremes and The Marvelettes when I was a kid, Girls Just Wanna Have fun I loved funny how when you hear old songs it vividly reminds you of certain places/people :-)
Have a motowntastic week ;-)
Great picks for the week, I forget about some of these groups. Thanks for stopping by Oh My Heartsie Girl today. Have a great day!

Not playing along this week, but thought I would stop by. I always did like that song from Diana Ross. It's pretty to play on the piano, too.
whoa.. is one of those weeks I should've waited on. All these girlie girl songs LOL Cyndi Lauper is cool though I must admit. Your hubby sure rocked the house too. Sorry again about that other incident. Sometimes I just get to strong headed about things. Have a great day
I love Cindy Lauper's Girl's just wanna have faa unnn.... hehehe YOU ROCKED THE HOUSE LADY! WHOOOOOOOOOOOO RAHHHHH
Do You Know Where You Going To is one of those songs that I always love and feel such a response to when I hear it. Yet it's not one in my musical library. It kinda sneaks up on you.
I have a response to Cyndi's anthem too -- just completely different. :)
Oh yea! I enjoyed your music and definitely love Cyndi!
Enjoy the rest of your week!

I have Diana Ross too - that was an easy one. Ooooo and Cindy Lauper - you hit all the bases. It was great rockin' with you this blog hop Naila. Hope you're having a fabulous week!
