Well, hello and Happy New Year! It's Monday's Music Moves Me!

Hello everyone out there in blogosphere world! I have missed you so. The end of last year from about October on went a bit haywire for me. Blogging kind of got put on the back burner and yes, I kinda disappeared.  It is too long to get into so, we will just leave it at that.

So, it is 2019!!! HALLELUJAH!

I don't make resolutions but do set a couple of goals to accomplish. I also like to start out fresh with a new do so to speak. That of course includes the look of my blog. Do you like it? Good! Yay!

I know I am late but I miss spinning tunes with the Monday's Music Moves Me family. So, here I am and hope everything will be back on track.  I understand they are theme-ing it this week.
We are to start with a Elvis song and then follow up with a couple of songs from the same era. I got this!

First up: ELVIS! We happen to share the same birth month of January. (Mine is the 12th)

Since I also happen to share the same decade as his return from the Army, I will do the next two songs from the 1960's.

Next up: Let's dance with Martha and The Vandellas

Final for today: The Troggs (Note: I love that in the video people seem to be oblivious to them.)

Okay...that's it! Make sure you link up and follow some folks.

I'm so glad to see you on the dance floor after so long. I hope the things that kept you preoccupied last year is now behind you and that the new year is full of good things. ;)

Your blog layout looks purrty good. One thing, you may want is to allow your background to scroll with the content.

Another thing is I prefer the content area to have more room, otherwise it looks too cramped.

Finally, you may wish to change the format of your side menu. Things are overlapping a bit making it confusing to the eye.

I'm sure you're still tweaking things but these are the sort of things I'd change if it were my site, but it's not and if you're happy with it then that's all that matters. Overall I love the color theme and wallpaper. :)

I enjoyed revisiting all of your classic sounds, all good ole oldies. Have a boogietastic week, dearie!

Since I grew up in the 50's and 60's, this topic was so enjoyable. I did a lot of dancing to "Dancing in the Streets" and "Wild Thing". So, thank you for the dance! Alana

I understand about goals. I don't make resolutions either.
Thanks for the dance!
Have a great week!

I'm with you - I prefer 'goals' vs. 'resolutions'. Less pressure (in my own head)! :) Great song selections, Naila! And Happy (day after) Birthday! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! :)
