Monday's #Music Moves Me...Freebie Week

Hello my friends and welcome to Monday's Music Moves Me. All this month our very own Cathy is co-hosting. However, today is a freebie day so I get to choose. Let's get started. Make sure you sign the linky below. ~Michelle

Since it is Labor Day here in the states, I thought I would start with an oldie from Loretta Lynn who sang about being a "Coal Miner's Daughter".

Next up: This next one could almost be dedicated to the workers who lost their jobs this year since the pandemic started. It was no different back when Bing sang about being in the food lines or begging for a dime.

Finally: Dolly Parton sang it well in the movie and boy does it hold up.

Michelle,

It's good having you on the dance floor. I can't believe it's September. The first day of all is 11-days away. "9 to 5" should be a Labor Day anthem song for the working class! Have a boogietastic week, my dear. Stay safe and be well!

"Brother Can You Spare a Dime" was sung so well by Bing Crosby. If he had not done one other song in his life, he would have been a great just for this one song. "9 to 5" and "Coal Miner's Daughter" are also perfect for Labor Day. Thank you for the set.
