Before I get to that though, I want to welcome back Java who host Meet Me Monday. She took the summer off but is back in full force today. That post will be at the beginning of my Monday post and Music to follow just so you are aware there is some order in here. ;p
Now on to it. The Meet Me Monday Questions
1. I can't stand when someone ________?
2. Do you do daily, weekly or monthly grocery shopping?
Actually, I go bi-weekly |
3. What kind of car do you drive?
Believe it or not, I drive a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor |
4. Crunchy or soft tacos?
I like both but partial to crunchy |
5. What's the habit you are proudest of breaking?
I have been soda free for 6 weeks now. |
Now on to the tunes. This week the train crew is featuring 80's week and since I grew up in that time, it is a favorite of mine.
Next, the 80's screams Michael Jackson(his videos were priceless!) from 1982:
From 1984, we had "The Boss" singing this:
Moving in to 1986 (the year I graduated):
There are so many songs from this time and such great ones too. Honestly, I wished I could list them all.
Until next time...peace,

Great tunes! I'm a huge fan of Michael Jackson & The Bangles. Congrats on the pepsi free!
Saw your link over at Never Grow Old's, Meet Me on Monday blog hop! Have a great day!
Awesome choices! And I love that you finished with Walk Like an Egyptian - I did, too! Great minds and all that jazz...though it's not hard to be great when you're talking 80's tunes, eh? ;)
You're a stronger woman than I am. I can't seem to quit soda.
The 80s totally rocked! Yep, I'm a day late. I just realized we played both MMMM. Come by for a visit when you get a chance!

Great choices, especially Walk like an Egyptian. Was Brick in the Wall 1979 or 1980 though, I always get confused when the Wall came out.
Great selections, and I knew you could get away from the dread Pepsi. Stay strong there.
Gotta love Michael Jackson!
Oh yeah, fabulous choices! You so rock, Girlfriend. Thanks for playing along with us once again. There's a big demand to do the 80's again, so we'll have a repeat in November! Have a great week and Pass the Word! Woo Hoo!
