Coffee Chat Tuesday...

Hey, pull up a chair and let's chat over coffee or whatever beverage you have in hand.
Today Rory over at Time Out For Mom wants to discuss what we thought of when we woke up this morning.

Hmm...well...I thought of a few things. Of course the usual TMI things that we all think about when we get up in the morning. Then I thought about the fact I was going to wear red today in support of my second cousin who was having an anti-bullying campaign today.

Finally, I thought about the fact I was going to the gym today for the first time in months and how incredibly stiff I already was before I went. Yeah...that's it.

It is a beautiful day today folks! Let's enjoy the rest of it!

My children's school has those wear Red days too. I think it's so great that they are teaching children to be so much more aware of bullying these days, AND giving them the necessary tools to help stop it.
My son actually had a boy call him this weekend, because the boy had been previously bullied by this kid, and after their parents getting involved -- he could see that the kid had moved on to my son. He wanted to call and tell my son that he would help him and together they would get the boy to stop.
Isn't that amazing!!! Kids helping one another stand up. I was touched, we immediately called his house to talk to the parents and they were so relieved to have other parents on their side who they could also talk to about these situations. my husband ended up going over to talk to them over coffee, while the boys played Lego.
So...we can totally make a difference in this bullying thing!
other than that, I am stiff from swimming and skating on our family day! :(

An anit-bullying campaign is awesome; props to your cousin! And to you for being supportive!

Getting to the gym is a wonderful thing. My gym closed down, and I haven't even tried to find a replacement yet.

We have a brand new gym facility built right in our apartment complex. I have no excuse!

I woke up this morning and thought, "Ugh, I don't want to get up." LOL That's usually what I think about in the mornings though before I drag my butt out of bed :)

It is a beautiful day today! Gotta enjoy it while it lasts!

I got up today and all I could think about is gotta call the gas company cuz I couldn't pay my bill on line last night and I needed a new password & how I have to hurry if I want coffee to take with on my journey to my three doctor's visits. It takes about 45 minutes to get there, so I had to move, move, move while hubby stayed in bed. He was up all night last night worrying about finding a job. Poor baby! I hope he finds one soon.
