My Dad was a former musician in his own right, although sadly I only heard him play the piano once in my entire life. He loved opera, classical, musicals and jazz. My Mother on the other hand loved rock 'n roll, soft rock, classical, jazz, musicals, Native American and a bit of country.
Then there was my maternal grandparents who loved bluegrass and country.
Yes, my love for music has been instilled in me since I was born and grateful indeed to still have it in my life.
Having said that and being Monday's Music I present to you and eclectic overview of music today. Let's start with...
This next one is long but worth it:
This one is the overture for my Dad's favorite opera:
This one reminds me of my parents eclectic tastes:
I am including this commercial "song" only because Betty White is a hoot!
Hope selections were enjoyable today.

Today's art project is this: (ongoing project)
Thanksgiving tree |
Originally I had it in a can. I took my vase, added paper on the bottom and added dried flowers to the top. I also added Renuzit refill to the jar...makes the house smell great. |
The hubby found the piece of wood and brought it home for me. We add daily our thankful thoughts on "leaves" I made. Have a great day and see you tomorrow! ~Naila Moon |

All of your freebie picks are great. I especially got a chuckle out of Betty White's I'm Still Hot video. She's soooo funny, isn't she? Thanks for dancing with all the crew on Monday's Music Moves Me, my friend. We so appreciate you playing along with us each week!
Wow, quite a mix. Love Phil Collins and the Overture. I am not a huge Jazz fan but I listened for a little bit, I like to stretch my comfort zone. Must admit the Donny and Marie "Little Bit Country and Rock n Roll" Video was interesting and love Bettty White. Have a great day!
great music line up you covered all different sounds and i enjoyed them all even did a little booty shaking.
OMgosh I love Betty White - that was too funny and just awesome.
Isn't any Miles Davis worth it? I think I am drawing a bubble bath and letting that one play out.
Music should be in the home. It really lightens things. I'm glad you had such a rich background.
And that Thanksgiving tree art is such a great idea!
Great classics too!
Have a lovely evening!
