Monday's Music Moves Me and top 10 Movies

It is another Monday and that always means Monday's Music for me with the ever lovely, Xmas Dolly and the train crew.

However, this week I am combining my post with the blog hop from Alex Cavanaugh, Ninja Dude, who is asking our top 10 movies of all time. (By the way, I like so many that I just picked and chose the last 5-it was tough!)

This is how I am going to work that. The movies will also be videos/songs for my Monday's Music family. Does that work for everybody? Great! Let' go then.

Beginning with my #1 All Time Favorite Movie: It's A Wonderful Life

#2 Mr. Holland's Opus

#3 Serendipity

#4 Royal Wedding

#5 Christmas On Sesame Street

#6 Matrix (This one is Reloaded but I like the whole trilogy) *WARNING NOT FOR YOUNG EYES!*

#7 Indiana Jone (This one is from the Last Crusade but again, I like the whole series)

#8 Titanic

#9 Good Morning Vietnam *WARNING ALERT*

#10 The Preacher"s Wife

As I said, this is not all inclusive, just what I could think of off the top of my head. Have a good week.
I am traveling tomorrow so, I will not see you until Wednesday. Peace~Naila Moon

I love Good Morning Vietnam! It could have easily made my top ten at several points in my life, and if I'd been able to do the top fifteen, it definitely would be on that list. You picked a lot of good ones!

That scene from It's a Wonderful Life always brings a tear to my eye. Seeing Fred Astaire dancing around for Royal Wedding makes me want to see the movie again. Only problem is is that I only have it on VHS tape! I am going to have to find it online.

I've seen all of those movies and agree those are indeed great songs!

At first I wasn't sure if this is going to work, but I was wrong & I stand corrected. This worked quite well, and hopefully these others will join our little music group too now that they know it's here. GREAT JOB girlfriend! Your first choice is mine also & your second one made me teary eyed. The rest are all movies I too enjoy very much including Indiana Joins & Matrix very cool. Whitney goes without saying. Astaire, Good morning Vietnam, yes just all of them. Our tastes runs parallel my friend! Thanks -- very good job! GOLD STAR!

It's a wonderful life is so inspiring to me. It came at a time when I was so depressed and lifted me up.
Love the intertwining.

Have a fun week Michelle!

I've only seen the first Matrix movie, and Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, but those were great movies. And I haven't yet seen the Titanic, but I'm planning on getting around to it eventually.

Great selections, and way to combine the two blog hops! My favorite music, of course, was from The Matrix, but my favorite movie up there is Good Morning Vietnam. Win!

You've got some good ones up. That's Sesame Street way back when I knew it (and that's been awhile ;) ). I love the Whitney Houston song, I thought that was a great movie for music. :)

Nice list of movies :) Matrix & Indiana Jones are amongst my faves too, though neither made my list for this hop. :)

This week, I'm doing a double dance with all of my 4M buds due to last week's siesta with DH. More about that in an upcoming post! :)

You put up some amazing movies for us to revisit. I never could get into the Matrix flicks, but I may have to try watching the first one again, if I can find it on Netflix to see if I'm missing something. I know a lot of people love the trilogy. You did put up two of my favorites: It's A Wonderful Life & Indiana Jones - great movies! It was great, great fun to dance with you and thanks for being such an awesome honorary co-host on Monday's Music Moves Me!
