Sunday Sayings: Second Sunday of Advent...Peace #Christmas #music #peace #Advent

This 2nd Sunday of Advent is a tough one this year. It shouldn't be, but it is. Our country is in such turmoil it seems. Peace does not even seem  to be something we are thinking about. However, shouldn't we be? I am looking for the peace makers, but as I have written before, I suppose that begins with me. Think about it. Do it. Live it.

  1. Pretty song, especially with the children singing.

  2. I must say John Lennon did have a way with words didn't he? Such a pretty tune.

  3. I was thinking this very thing this weekend! Peace seems very far out of reach right now. I always think of that quote by Indira Ghandi "You can't shake hands with a clenched fist." And that's how it seems right now: a lot of blaming, and finger pointing, and gross generalizations - instead of forgiveness and coming together.
    such a pretty song.
