Mondays Music Moves Me...Feb. 4, 2013

Hello my fellow music lovers. It's Monday and that means Mondays Music Moves Me time hosted by the lovely Xmas Dolly. Her train crew is Callie of JaAmerica Spice, Stacy of Stacy Uncorked, and Cathy of Cathy Kennedy's Blog. This month they are being joined by honorary conductor, Becca of Everday Life. Whoot, whoot...all aboard!

This week is a freebie week. I do like these weeks because you never know what people are going to play.

I decided to carry on with last week's theme which was songs dealing with the 4 elements picked by yours truly.

So many great songs were posted and I loved everyone of them. However, I have more for your listening pleasure.

 Check these out:

First up. My hubby and I caught this song on the Music Choice Channel. I had never heard it before.

Next up a classic.

This next one is a bit sentimental for me. An old flame dedicated this song to me over the radio. Remember when people used to do that? I have always loved his voice.

I'll round up the elemental theme with this one.

Bonus: I am dedicating this song to the ones for whom the song was originally written about. On Sunday, February 3rd, it would have been the 54th anniversary of the deaths of JP Richardson, Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holly...The Day the Music Died.

Peace, love and music, ~Naila Moon

*Remember to come by tomorrow for Tuesdays topics. You never know what I am talking about.

Great choices my friend. I see your sportin' your own Monday's Music Moves Me button! Why you don't like ours? Also, I see your posted our Honorary Conductor's button. This button is only to be posted by our Honorary Conductors for the month that they reign as I told you in the e-mail. Congrats for NEXT month sweetie, but for now this one belongs to Becca! Thanks anyway. :) Love that you picked up from last week. Great choices.

Dust in the Wind is a long time favorite of mine, I guess, because of it's classical music sound. Cold as Ice really brings back memories of childhood friends. Have a great day!

Great picks. I love your theme. The song Sailing reminds me of my dad. He used to play the song all the time when I was growing up!

So glad you chose to honor the day the music died. We lost three great artists that day and to this day their music still inspires.
