In the late 70's/early 80's there were many sightings of unidentified flying objects...aka UFO's. I remember my parents talking about the ones that had been seen. I am not sure what I imagined them to look like as a young kid but I am sure I had some image of them.
Believe it or not, I even remember us going on a UFO hunt. Really, I do! My parents loaded us up one night in to our VW and took us out in to the country...mind you this was not a far stretch as we lived out in the country. Anyway, we parked the car in an open field, got out and looked up.

It was dark that night but not so dark that the stars were not out. In fact, it was a perfect night for alien watching. My parents jabbered to us and kept pointing in to the sky and then...it happened!
All of a sudden, across the sky two very bright red streaks raced across the sky. My parents gasped at the sight and pointed even more. Then it happened yet again. I saw it, I did!
We waited in hopes to see more aliens and more UFO's but nothing more came that night. We went home excited that we saw what we saw out in the field.
We never did see anything more like it but I have always been fascinated by the thought there might actually be aliens out there.
If there really are aliens among us, welcome to Earth. Please feel free to roam around, bask in a latte and smell the roses. Just please let me know your intentions so I can be prepared and no probing. ok?

***As I was looking up some research for this blog, I was amazed to find that there are still reported sightings everyday and not just from Area 51...which we all know does not exist, but from all over the world, even as early as April 2012.***
Do you think it is possible there are aliens from another world? Have you seen UFO's? Do you think it all is a bunch of hooey made up by movie people? Do just you wish E.T. would phone home?

How cool that your parents did that with y'all, and even cooler that you saw... something.
I do believe there is other life out there - the universe is so vast, it just seems likely. Now whether they are visiting or not, I don't know, but it seems like if they actually are intelligent life forms, they'd be smart enough to stay away from us!

I don't think that earth is the only planet that serves a purpose.
I've never seen a UFO, however I have had some extreme things happen to me in my life which lead me to realize that there are other dimensions beside this one.
I tend to think that the Egyptian history regarding visitors has truth to it; and other cultures that have stated the same thing.
The Bible speaks of other's that are not of this world and have come to this world. So yes- it is all very possible!
I have no doubt that I've entertained angels!
Animals are so in tune- the sense when a presence that we don't see is present; and I witness that all the time.
Demons can be smelled when present; I've witnessed that also!
So - I have no doubt that other Beings exist!!

It turns out that last night, after I posted this, there was a show about aliens coming to earth...seriously! I was totally flabbergasted.
The show was based on fact and fiction. Even if "they" did come I would wonder why? What do they want? Your statement made me laugh because in all seriousness, I would think "they" are much more advanced than us and we would just act stupid!
