*Z and the end

*Zumba

My cousin-"Zumba Queen"

My regular followers know that I have spoken about my cousin whom I call the Zumba Queen. She began Zumba as a way to lose weight and be healthy in mind, body and spirit. To date she has lost 100+ pounds and has learned a ton about being healthy.

She recently received her certification to teach children's Zumba and even water Zumba.  She has inspired me to be health wise.

Ever since she started Zumba, she has been on me to try it out. She said it would be fun and I would be hooked. Being unconvinced, I was reluctant to try it out. However, I made the mistake...um, asked her... to lead Zumba for the Relay For Life fundraiser I was having.
She gladly accepted but insisted on me trying it out...for the fundraiser of course.

What I found was I really did have a good time. I loved the music and the dancing (even though I mainly shuffled my feet). Oh and yes, I will probably do it again! Shh...don't tell her that.

Well, here I am at the end of the A-Z challenge. I MADE IT! Whee...
Actually, it really turned out to not be that bad. By preparing for a general idea of what I wanted to do and having a calendar of those ideas, it really helped.  I will give you more of my thoughts on this in a later post.

Thanks everyone for joining me and to those who are now new followers...welcome! I am totally glad and grateful you are here.

Peace...Naila Moon

Good for you two doing Zumba. I have not done it because I have a hip replacement but my daughter loves it.

Yay!!! You are finished with the A to Z.... I bet you are very happy about that.

That's totally fab! I was doing Zumba every Wednesday until my back gives out then I have to take off a month and then I can go back for a few weeks after my shots, but I totally love. We have a great instructor and the music and the other ladies are totally cool. You go girl!

Dancing to good music is a great way to exercise. Having music going period is a good way to enjoy it. I listen to my iPod when I'm biking or lifting weights. Great way to pass the time.

I've seen several Zumba posts. I don't know how strenuous it is, but I'm not sure I could handle it. It must be fun the way so many people are doing it.

Congratulations on making it through the A to Z Challenge. Join us on May 7th with your Challenge Reflections post.
