Day 11...Remembering the 3000+

I would be amiss if I did not speak of the tragedy that struck my beloved country 10 years ago.  I like so many others were affected by that day...a day forever etched in my mind.

It does matter what I was doing that day.  What matters is that I remember it. That I remember 3000+ people lost their lives senselessly.  They should not ever be forgotten!

What I do also hope is that also these people lives can one day be celebrated and not mourned. These were people who, like you and me, enjoyed life, had families and dreamed.  I would hope by celebrating their lives and not their deaths, that we as a world and more over a country, can maybe someday live again in peace.

It is my hope and my dream.

Today, you 3000+ that I never knew are forever in my heart and I am here to celebrate you and to dream the dreams you never got a chance to have.

Peace...
Naila Moon
